Joe Hendry To Compete At Commonwealth Games 2018

 By Nathan P Hunt

‘The Prestigious One’ Joe Hendry, who made a name for himself with his unique and entertaining entrances in ICW, has announced today that he will compete in the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Already a decorated amateur wrestler, having won the British Championship in Freestyle Wrestling last year, Hendry has been selected to compete at the prestigious games (no pun intended) in Australia this coming April.

Hendry first became a star on the UK pro wrestling scene in 2013 when his parody-song entrances for ICW caught the attention of fans nationwide. He has gone on to hold ICW’s Zero-G and Tag Team Championships, as well as championships for promotions such as DDT, NGW and WCPW (now rebranded as Defiant Wrestling), but also continued training and competing in amateur wrestling throughout that time.
